Creatomus Solutions wins Tallinn kindergarten architectural competition

The City of Tallinn announced that Creatomus Solutions won the architectural competition for a new kindergarten in the Manufactory quarter with our design “Hiiepuu.”
The project involves restoring a historic villa destroyed by fire in 2019 and building an extension to house a kindergarten with 10 groups. The design team includes Renee Puusepp, Patric Liik, Jelyzaveta Peresada, Aline Aparecida Cabral de Carvalho, Marija Katrina Dambe, Florian Betat, Juris Dambis, Kiur Lootus, and Eva-Maria Truusalu.
Deputy Mayor Viljar Jaamu emphasized the importance of creating an environment that supports children’s development and creativity, noting that the building will be constructed from eco-friendly materials. The project aligns with Tallinn’s 15-minute city vision and will serve the developing Kopli area.
The kindergarten will be a pilot project under the EU NonHazCity3 program, focusing on reducing hazardous chemicals in building materials and increasing climate neutrality.
